Having found the blog world last almost a year and a half ago-one thing stands out to me. There are some amazing people out there. Beyond my own little bubble of life, I've managed to come into contact with the coolest, sweetest, funniest people. I've seen these same people ban together to help one another for a number of reasons. And I think that just kicks ass...for lack of a more Hallmark'esque sentiment.
You guys know Momma Kiss, right? She's an amazing mother, blogger, and friend. She's truthful and blunt...I respect that. But when I found out about her friend Ailish and her fight with breast cancer and watched Momma K's devotion to her friend...my respect for her grew tenfold. She's participating in the Susan G. Komen 3 day walk this coming July. She's already achieved 59% of her goal. If every Boobie Chaser donated even just $1...she'd hit her mark and them some. You guys have a buck, right? Check your couch cushions, clean out your car, watch for random people to drop change....you got this!

Cancer shouldn't even exist. We can put a man on the moon....We can make phones that have an app to do everything short of dressing us....we can eradicate cancer! (Feel free to tell your neighbors, tweet this, yell it from the roof tops!)

This is such an important cause!!! I love that you have banded with MommaKiss to achieve her goal - you are both awesome women!! And you're right - there should be no cancer - but the sad fat is that we all know someone whose life has been touched by it.

Depending on work vs the walk, I'm hoping to participate this year.

I agree. Cancer shouldn't even exist. Our society is so technologically advance. I just don't understand why a cure hasn't been found yet. No one should be dying from cancer or diabetes or any of these other diseases that plagues our world. It's senseless.
