Save 2nd Base Giveaway! (CLOSED)

It's no surprise that I'm a Boobie advocate all the way around! So when an opportunity presented itself to raise awareness about breast cancer--I was all over it! My great-Grandmother was a breast cancer survivor. Thanks to early detection, she beat it and went on to live a long, full, and healthy life. Despite her battle...she never lost her sense of humor...and I think this makes all the difference in the world!

In July 2006 we lost our sister and friend Kelly Rooney to breast cancer. She was 43 years old and left behind a husband and 5 children.

Cancer can take one’s hair, energy and mobility, but Kelly refused to let it take away her sense of humor. She coined the phrase “Save 2nd Base” and inspired us all. We hope our shirts inspire you!

Each of us has been touched by cancer in some way. A senseless disease that should be extinct from our vocabulary. Save 2nd Base's goal is to provide exposure to the Kelly Rooney Foundation. Save 2nd Base has already donated more than $30,000 to KRF and other Breast Cancer non-profits!
