I never actually had a 'real' wedding. Obviously, I'm married. But no white dress, no reception, no Cinderella style glass slippers for this girl.
My Grandmother gave me her wedding tiara a few weeks ago. (It's over 50 years old.) So I was on the hunt, looking for ways to preserve it. It's now housed in a gorgeous shadow box to keep forever. I smile every time I walk by it.
Anyway, in the process of my Google searches, I found a place called Rosie Willett Designs. Handmade wedding tiaras, headbands, & headpieces. Absolutely breathtaking! Now I want to have a vow renewal, just so I can wear a gorgeous tiara. Is that ridiculous? Granted, my budget doesn't allow for a Duchess of Cambridge style wedding. That's what makes Rosie's line so perfect. It IS in my budget. We may not all have a Princess sized budget, but let's face it--we are all princesses at heart.

Even if I can't get Mr. B on board, I'm still buying a tiara and wearing it around the house. He can't stop me, right?

I love the sound of buying a wonderful tiara like these and wearing it around the house Boobies. It's a real shame that you never had that kind of traditional wedding but maybe that was your choice, regardless I bet your wedding days were awesome without the dressing up as a princess "proper," stuff that's really just a waste of money even if it's fun.

I never had a real wedding either I keep trying to convince my husband to do a vow renewal so I can have a white poofy dress and shiz.. he said you have 2 kids you cant wear a white dress... well EFF it I can wear a Tiara then right!
